The Last Rockblaster

In 2230, unknown hostile extraterrestrials destroyed the planet Mercury in a surprise attack, decimating our defense fleet and sending fragments hurtling toward Earth. In desperation, world leaders conscripted space miners to protect us from imminent destruction. As the last rockblaster, you are our only remaining hope.

The Last Rockblaster is a faithful clone of the original Asteroids game for the Atari 2600, with some new features:

• Procedurally generated backgrounds with starfields and colorful nebulas.
• Floaty, responsive ship movement.
• Increasing difficulty for each level completed.
• Endgame statistics.

This game is a proof-of-concept made as a refresher course in Godot Engine. There likely won't be any future updates but I will address any bug reports.
